Artist's Description

The Gedong Songo temple complex consists of nine buildings, not all of which are still intact, but whose remains have been found. Gedong Songo also means nine buildings in Javanese. From the temples that are higher up, you have a nice view of the mountains in the background when the weather is clear, or in this case after a rain.
